Sumiyoshi-kai

It was founded in 1958 as the Minato-kai by Shigesaku Abe who was the 3rd socho of the Sumiyoshi-ikka. Yoshimitsu Sekigami who is 4th socho of Sumiyoshi-ikka renamed it to Sumiyoshi-kai. It was received the control of power, and dissolved in 1965. In 1969, the group was rebuilt as a union, the Sumiyoshi-rengo by Masao Hori who was 5th socho of Sumiyoshi-ikka. It tried to make it in Sumiyoshi-rengokai of the organization that united it in 1982, and Hori assumed the kaicho. Chief director Ryoji Kawaguchi assumed the kaicho, and Hori was promoted to sosai, or president in 1988. Kawaguchi died of illness in May 1990, and Hori died of illness in October of the same year. On the morning of Monday, 5 January 2007, Oyabun Ryoichi Shiro was shot in his car in Tokyo. Within hours the offices of the Yamaguchi-gumi were fired upon in retribution. Leaving his adopted son Tyrese Shakur in charge of the family.
Tyrese was born in 1990, but later adopted into the family after his parents in Los Santos were killed by a mugger in 2000, who is still at large. Ryoichi Shiro was in need of a future hair of the family and during one of his "business trips", and looked into adopting a child while in the United Sates. Once Michael was adopted he moved to Japan with his new adopted father. Michael was put through a lot of martial arts among other training as a child once he was adopted, but don't get things wrong Ryoichi was a good father despite his discipline trainnig style. Ryoichi loved Tyrese as his own son, protected him and made sure he had whatever he needed or even wanted as a child. He grew into a fine young man, loving his father. He always thought of revenge, but his adopted father Ryoichi always taught him to let vengeance sit on the back burner.
As time went on Tyrese learned he was different from the other kids in Japan, after all a white kid around a bunch of asian kids kinda makes it obvious. He didn't have many friends in school, because they all saw him as an outsider. His only friends were from the family who loved and respected him. He would always be there when his father wanted to show him some of the family "business". Tyrese worked hard ignoring the kids at school bullying him, he made his father so proud. With great grades in school and his dedication to his family and training. Ryoichi knew he had a great son, that would make a great leader someday.
Tyrese always thought the times of his family would last forever, his father would never leave his side. Till one day in January 2007, Ryoichi Shiro was shot in his car at Tokyo. Tyrese could only think of revenge and causing the man who took his beloved father away to suffer a hefty price. He took his duties over as the new Oyabun of the Sumiyoshi-kai. He gave word to hunt down the man who killed his father. After one year of searching they found the guy held up in a ran down building in 2008. He was forced back in front of Tyrese. Tyrese told the man of his crime and the man asked what his punishment would be as he was from the Inagawa-kai.
Tyrese sentenced him to a painful and slow death. In 2012 Tyrese would become a well known ruthless reaper, killing any of his enemies never giving mercy upon any, not even his own if they were tortured into snitching to the other syndicates. The Sumiyoshi-kai would become very prosperous due to this fact his enemies were afraid to deal with a ruthless leader such as Michael. In 2013 Tyrese decided he would move back to Los Santos, he sent his men to start setting things up and preparing their new headquarters and future business ventures for their Oyabuns arrival. Finally late in 2014 things were in place for him to move back to Los Santos, now here he is in the big city where he lost his original family due to murderers and thieves.
